November 7, 2022 - 3:28 pmI have a big Fractal case, white, with clear/no tint window, no drive bays. It is huge in there. I have gigabyte vision board + card in it. I have gskill ram & lian li lit cables – the works. I want an AIO with a screen, white, I just am not sure which to do or whether it s worth opening the top of the case/switching the top to the meshed top or whether it is fine to just replace the rear exhaust fan – I have a white 2070 super in there for 2 years & there is NO dust on it now that I replaced it with a 3080TI, so I am super pleased about that – about my overall airflow. So I am also worried about adding more exhaust – is a single-fan cooler routed out the back enough for a 12700k? 3 intakes on the front, seasonic prime platinum "fan on or off, my choice" PSU, big ass air cooler on the CPU – want to go AIO with a screen, because I hate infinity mirrors or other nonsense & do not want logos in my machine. The g skill logo on the ram already bothers me & clashes with my gigabyte card. 12700k, 3080 vision, 128gb 3666mhz. Opted for the vision card because I do not like AMD due to bad experiences with them throughout the years in multiple generations & do not like 4xxx cards from nvidia & there is no white vision one for those yet anyway. My 3080 matches my other hardware better anyway. I just want to have an AIO in here to feel like this one is complete for the next couple of years until I do a new build.

November 7, 2022 - 3:28 pmJust FYI, while the Halos are great, the blue LEDs in them die fairly quickly. Check out the Amazon reviews for them. The blue LEDs will die within a year or two, so you'll have to replace the Halos if you want blue and you can't buy the white ones separately.

November 7, 2022 - 3:28 pmI run an i9 10900k on a 240mm MSI LCD AIO and it does great, my case is only good for a 240mm so I got it set up in a push pull setup and the only time it spins the fans up hard is during benchmarks.

I plan to buy this components to build my PC. My goal is to game on Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75TQSRXEN which is 1440p 32" monitor.
My though process was to build PC that is mostly for Gaming but can do decent job with other tings like editing, rendering and so on…
What components would you cut/add from/to this config ?

November 7, 2022 - 3:28 pmI have one issue with the Halo series, and that's that it isn't compatible with Phantek's own ITX Evolve Shift… The Halos are too long to latch onto the bracket, so they need to be forgone. (though I did just strap them to the top of the RAD for RGB Goodness anyway…. XD)

November 7, 2022 - 3:28 pmhey Jay, love the content. could you try the exact same set up with a black rad, from what I understand colouring any rad fins white will/could result in much worse thermal dissipation due to the nature of colours and physics. (at least in cars and refrigeration) it would be interesting to see if there is any difference, if there isn't any difference then at least its content. lol.
