October 29, 2022 - 4:51 pmive used a mechanical pencil metal tip to straighten cpu pins before, it keeps the pin nice and straight while bending them back "a friend tried to install his and failed" the cpu worked great after straightening the pins with a mechanical pencil tip.

October 29, 2022 - 4:51 pmI would suggest saving donor CPU sockets and then trying out the CPUs after replacing the pins just to make sure they are all aligned and they fit in cleanly.
