    I just built a pc and doing something like this was my biggest fear, I can't imagine how whoever owns this must have felt when it went wrong

    This is why I liked AMD's CPU design, now that it's gone LGA style with AM5 a damaged motherboard is now way harder to repair in my opinion

    ive used a mechanical pencil metal tip to straighten cpu pins before, it keeps the pin nice and straight while bending them back "a friend tried to install his and failed" the cpu worked great after straightening the pins with a mechanical pencil tip.

    I have 5800x I lost pins on it came off with cpu cooler

    I would suggest saving donor CPU sockets and then trying out the CPUs after replacing the pins just to make sure they are all aligned and they fit in cleanly.

    how could u even brake a cpu like i took mine out about 2 weeks ago to fix a over heat bug i fixed it without drop the cpu
