Hi Gabby! Do you remember (it’s been a year) how long the poly gel stayed on your nail without doing any nail prep? I’m looking into poly gel but I don’t want to damage my already thin nails by filing the surface of my nail. It would be awesome if the poly gel works without having to buff or rough up the surface of the nail. Thank you and I loved watching this video!

Wow, what a great idea!! I'm also new to polygel. And what I like, is that you can use different sizes of fake nails, for creating your desired length, or just doing your natural nails! Those nail forms were always so hard to see the different lengths (what they should've done, was mark those lengths with a dark color, so you could see it!!!)

Love your video, and that dress is beautiful you look so pretty!!❤️

You did a great job young lady, and you didn't talk a lot like others do in their videos. You got right to the nail explanation. Thank you so much!

So helpful!! Can we use the same base coat as for semi-permanent tecniques? Also, should we wipe off the steaky thing that comes out when we UV the base?

I tried this and it's soooo much easier. I'm still working on my cuticles. I saw another video and I put it on the tip all the way up and left the tip on.

I have tried this process using Marquette nails using different nails off Amazon. The nails that are in this video are out of stock. The problem I have is some do not pop off. Is there a particular tip? I don't think the gel tips work. Is it more an acrylic tip or what is the tip comprised of that allows it to pop off so easily? One particular tip I used which was from Markatt The pump up nails absolutely would not come off. I was left with the tip I literally had to file soak. It was horrendous to get the tip off. It did damage. I would love to do this process because I do not like the forms that are typically included in the polygel system kits. The wells are so deep. They are so thick. I would like a more natural look. Any advice specifically to the name or brand of nail tips that work for this process would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you And by the way your nails looked beautiful

Trying this out today. I’m super fussy about nails (among other things) and this looks like a way less fiddly way to get a great result.

I started putting it on my nail and a thin layer on the full cover tip bc the color was never uniform that works . If you are going to leave the FCT on make sure you do a base coat on the inside of it and cure before you add polygel or it’ll separate from your nail I learned that from another YouTuber. Can’t remember her name or I’d give her credit but it made all the difference this time, I’ve had them for weeks. The last set separated and it looked horrible, ruined the pretty design
