August 16, 2022 - 1:26 pmAnother helpful tip is to gently file or rough up the nail covering on the side that goes onto the nail just as you do your natural nail. Helps with that staying power and to not lift.

August 16, 2022 - 1:26 pmLet me preface this by saying, I am not a nail wearing type of gal. I can hardly paint them without getting the paint all over my skin around the nail. However, I recently have been super intrigued when I saw solid gel nail polish which somehow lead me to poly forms. I purchased a kit online but I'm scared to try it. My biggest struggle is using my non dominant hand on my dominant hand. Any tricks or tips?

August 16, 2022 - 1:26 pmThis was quite helpful. I see that after you mold the gel into the form you turn them over and place directly on top of your natural nail and adjust. It doesn’t appear you need to press the nail down. For the forms I have to press them down or the poly gel separates from the nail bed. The Forms are the correct size. How do you manage to simply place them on top without the need to have them clamped?

So with this method, will the nail cover lift up and come off in time? Can you just separate it from the cured polygel? Maybe I misunderstand something here. It looks super pretty and natural though and I really want to try the method. Thank you
