Electric vehicles can’t yet compete, but their capability is constantly and rapidly improving. Additionally, gas fueling stations are prominent, while charging stations for electric vehicles are not yet as available, although many countries and cities are continuing investment to install more.

While gas has been the dominant source of energy for a long time, electric is increasingly becoming the preferred option for many people. As technology continues to advance, electric vehicles are becoming more affordable, and the infrastructure to support them is growing. For many industries, electric is simply more cost-effective and eco-friendly, with lower maintenance and management costs.

So is gas or electric the answer? The answer is that both have their strengths and weaknesses, and the solution lies in understanding the specific application of each. Gas remains essential for many industrial processes, but when it comes to vehicles, the latest electric vehicles are becoming the choice of the future for many. The infrastructure for electric vehicles is quickly improving, and governments are continuing to incentivize it, while the cost of ownership is set to significantly drop for years to come. Therefore, the direction in which things are headed overwhelmingly indicates electric as the winner of the debate: the answer to our quest for renewable energy.
