He's a writer", and already was a famous writer before he was befriended with them all. He didn't take anything expensive as gifts from them, even if offered him homes, only accepted social invitations, and he gave them gracious gifts all the time, treated them like his queens, and immortalized them through what he wrote about them all. Here we are seeing how true it is. That's why he was very well referred to as a court jester.

March 9, 2024 - 4:06 amGreat in depth TRUTH character studies and portrayals, of Truman Capote and the women in his life. As for men in his life, he couldn't really love them either. He was the main character of his life movie, and everyone else were secondary to him. He was his way, his own very talented genial way, his survival mechanism.

March 9, 2024 - 4:06 amI am watching, but I don't like this season. Everyone is so awful. I feel a bit sorry for T.C. because I read his mother didn't love him and because he was just a source of entertainment for them. I just wish he had been able to achieve sobriety, find love and good friends.

March 9, 2024 - 4:06 amI watched Feud on Hulu and the constant advertising every 10 minutes made it impossible to focus on the actual storyline (and I have an "Ad Free" Hulu subscription). There were way too many interuptions for irritating forced ads. Advertising greed is out of control on this one.

When in reality, these things were done very discreetly with finesse and shade, the way a woman would do them. In the show, everything is being exacerbated (undoubtedly for entertainment purposes).
But you can tell it's coming from a male pov. Just my 2 cents…
