  1. I think long nails are gross and unsanitary. There is no way you are cleaning under each nail everytime you wash your hands. You couldn't pay me to each anything a person with long nails cooks. Also I see girls with long nails lickng their fingers after eating so they are probably licking last weeks BBQ sauce & poop. Just NASTY!!๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ท

  2. That tech really did a outstanding job ! Finding a tech sometimes hard . Once you find a good one itโ€™s well worth it ! & that should be your go to tech !

  3. 240$?!!?!!!?!! I have done this exact set for 50!!! Same exact process!! Sculpted nails and everything!! I use same products and still doesnโ€™t cost that much

  4. Hi Tina from Melbourne, VIC. Congratulations on baby news, how exciting, thanks for sharing it all so far!
Could you please advise on what to do for first time nail visit? I have never had my nails done, not sure what to get and your advice?
Acrylics, gels etc., I have no idea what to ask for! Help? I would prefer something that doesn't damage the nail underneath, if possible….

  5. I used to go to a verrrryy popular insta famous (where all the insta girls went) nail salon and the most I paid was $150 and I had Swarovski's on every nail…

  6. Those were pretty expensive but many ppl underestimate the skill it takes to do nails that look good (even up close) and last long and done quickly is a bonus. Considering the fact that so many different colors were used, I wouldnโ€™t be surprised if they charged per color as well as for custom art done on all 10 nails.

All that said, they look great and Iโ€™m sure that even though some ppl think those are overpriced, many nail techs donโ€™t change what theyโ€™re worth especially when it comes to nail art.

I for one was never satisfied going to the nail salon so I do my own gel sculpted nails and the supplies can get pricy if you want variety. Those ladies are also paying for commercial space to run a business on theyโ€™re own it seems so it all adds up to me!

  7. The nails are fantastic, I canโ€™t help wondering if all that gel on the pallet is just wasted afterwards there was so much on there.

  8. I'm not gonna lie, the nails look far too chunky. I get acrylic done in central London regularly and they are able to make my nails a beautiful shape and relatively thin so they're not heavy – freehand building on tips without forms! I don't think the nail tech was that good tbh

  9. Forms need to be tailored to your finger to get a better fit and an overall stronger โ€œperfectโ€ structure of the nail extensions .

  10. you rock that design! beautiful girl Tina.
the quality of work however is so…amateur.
the manicure itself (cuticle removal) is not even done. the extention technique is wrong. the nail shape is uneven on the sides. the end of the nail is WAY too thick. I could go on.
in post-Soviet countries, this work would cost nothing. it's unprofessional.
