Those people who got less skills they go for govt jobs except IAS,IPS UPSC etc
People with more skills go with private sector
Govt jobs are hard to crack but we onlt have to clear one exam most of the time to get a job.And do the same thing for the whole life
Where as we learn alot in private sector
So acc to me private sector is good.
You explore yourself alOng with lot of things

There is one thing that everybody misses about this is that government jobs can post you near your hometown and will help you if you become physically unable to do job…in private they just fire you if you are not able to do job

Why we have discussions of IAS & police jobs only. Government sector have huge number of different jobs, compare their working culture with corporate then see what comes out.

When it comes to government job everyone discusses about IAS.

From average student and middle class perspective i can give this answer is simple way.
    1) Enjoyment
+Gov u will be in some small district or small taluka like places no pizza burger
× pvt u will be definitely in big cities where u can enjoy life and good facility

    2) job security
    +Gov plus point
    ×pvt negative point

    3) working
+Gov limited time with good holidays
    ×pvt more time and effort

    4) income
+Gov limited with good hra da perks facility
× pvt depending upon ur posting if ur post is high u will get good facility

    5) pressure
+Gov no pressure on small post
×pvt always be creative and lots of pressure

    6) after 40 yaers lifestyle
    +Gov neutral
× pvt frustrated or happy depending on ur posting

    7) promotion
+Gov minimum 6 to 7 years required for promotions
×pvt minimum 4 5 yaers depending upon ur hardwork and many more

I think government agent should be more private because efficiency of government agency is less then provite ….so this should be considered
And SC st quota should be automatically remove after that… these Sc St burden on General people ….so government should be more privtige

It's the education system this mentality had been drilled into our minds that
1 get good Marks in school
    2 attend best colleges
    3 get a govt/private job
4 then retire and enjoy your life
This mentality needs to change the country needs entrepreneurs right now

Now a days salary is not good enough. I work in TCS about 3 years but my salary is 30 to 31k. I think we should go for higher level govt job. In govt sector we have to hard work one time but in mnc we have to work hard for life time.

Private sector jobs have an advantage… In the end it comes down to salary and govt employees regret it later in their life.. Whether they admit it or not… Also, in private sector your talent is rewarded you will never have to feel down because of reservation…and stop calling Civil servants creme de la creme… Private sector specialists are creme de la creme… That's why both bjp and Congress have advocated for the entry of specialists in bureaucracy…

This fist-fight can go on till eternity, but one thing's certain: Those in the private sector are rewarded for their work provided they continue to learn, innovate and deliver results by virtue of their creativity and talent, while those into Govt jobs shall be rewarded (in terms of promotion etc.) as long as they can boot-lick their seniors or politicians, that's how it has always worked – at least in India.

If deeply looked into, those at the top coveted Govt. job posts (IAS/IPS etc.) are mostly selected on the basis of how well they've scored in the UPSC exams and the interview, and those who have really achieved the skill of mugging up (or ratta maarna, as also put) are right up there, still tip-toeing behind wicked politicians who aren't even 1% as qualified or knowledgeable as the Civil Servant posted there (let's be cognizant of the fact that not every politician is a Narendra Modi). Those who have garnered the skill of "chaatna" over the years continue to get promotions and posts of their preference. But for once if you dare to pull up your sleeves and take actions as per your conscience and aptitude, then get ready to face the wrath. Frequent transfers of dedicated and committed IPS and IAS officers have become run-of-the-mill stories these days, and all they get are faint (good-for-nothing) consolations and support on social media from a small no. of youth, pretty aimless in their lives themselves.

OTOH, ones at the top of the pyramid in the corporate sector are infact recruits from top B-schools, who themselves are recruited on the basis of how smart or witty they are, and not on how much they have been able to mug up over the preceding years. These people go on to become CEOs and CFOs of top organizations by virtue of this street-smartness behaviour and ability to take quick decisions developed over the years. Even under the worst circumstances, if these men/women are dropped from their coveted posts, they would have sufficient skill, knowledge and experience to "start-up" on their own and still do well without anyone bossing them around. I doubt how many Govt. job aspirants actually could muster in the courage to become an entrepreneur, given the only resource they have is some capital and some fair-weather known sources and acquaintances. After all, not everyone can become a Roman Saini.

Go for government job first. If you want to take leave also it's fine. You will get job security , spend free time. Less tension , not much target compared to private job.
