November 12, 2022 - 1:04 pmHelp any suggestions would be appreciated, building a new PC (intel) using MSI Z690 carbon WIFI paired with Corsair iCUE elite H170i cooler.
It states (Connect pump tach cable to the CPU_FAN header on your motherboard) this is 3 pin however I only have 4 pin connections.

The plastic shroud which serves as the base covering the block doesn't fit in with the AM4 cpu mount….
Thankfully you can remove it and it's not too obvious but it's such a dumb design flaw….
Seriously fix this.

November 12, 2022 - 1:04 pmI bought this upgrade and installed to AMD AM4 and its not compatible it wont sit and connect properly due to the bracket is getting hitting the base causing a CPU Fan Error every time I boot up.I had to trimmed the bottom part so it would sit and connect after doing so the CPU Fan Error was gone and was able to boot up properly.
Iβve also seen another video that the new complete set comes with a proper AMD AM4 bracket to utilize the four screws. I wish this is Corsair LCD Elite upgrade comes with Spare AMD AM4 bracket. So I didnβt to go thru trimming the plastic just to sit flushed on the aio pump base.
