How To Job Search and Network In The UX Design Industry (2023)

  It’s been 10 weeks so far for me and I’ve applied for over 40 positions and only received 1 interview offer (which was the boot camp school I attended).
  I was made redundant from my job right after I finished my boot camp but I was in high spirits given I had just competed 2 real client projects and 1 self led project. I thought for sure I’d land a role soon.

  Unfortunately, no one tells you how hard it is to actually get noticed by hiring managers. It’s been very demoralising to be honest knowing all your hard work, time, and effort isn’t coming back with results. (I’ve even received positive feedback from my mentor and career coach)

  Sorry for venting here.

  If you’re a newbie and you’re deeply passionate about this field, and you feel like you’ve found the career fit just for you….hang in there and keep your head up ❤️

  when you working in your internship, were you still a full-time employee at your old job? it there a way to do internship work on your own time? because for me, I cannot afford to have 6 month non-paid internship…
