He/she didn't deserve.
Better if nobody knows how to write this document and there is no recommendation online or anywhere else.
It will help to identify and prevent useless activities in the future.

Every one and i mean every single one shows examples of only marketing (its either resume or cover letter), coz its so easy to make one. can anyone dare to make a finance related cover letter or a resume, i can bet, they will take a month only to prepare a draft and then make a utube video…sorry not being rude but this is a fact and frustration kicking in..if anyone has come across any videos which show best resume format or best cover letter for finance professionals, i wud be obliged..but I'm sure you wont find one…and if u do, they will not be as good as a marketing cover letter or resume video is..

1=> State the Job you're applying for
2=> Who am I and what have I done ?
3=> Add adjectives to describe yourself
4=> Must be personalized
5=> What you can do for them (GOLDEN Point)
6=> Look at my resume/portfolio website to know more
Note: Make it concise (half a page), to the point, and all about how you can benefit them. This is your first impression on the recruiter. Don't attach as an attachment, write it in the email. Sniff out the name of the recruiter to make his/her eyes sparkle π

My pronunciation is half Australian, half Scottish and half Indian. By the way, I have many false friends and guess words completely wrong.
I really know, how to really avoid words, that are really overused.

February 4, 2023 - 4:25 pmsome of these points build the wrong atmosphere to job recruitment. Recruiters are meant to take some 'unnecessary' steps, especially if the are required but aren't desired. Recruiters should find the perfect person for their company; surely candidates do not want to be hired for the wrong reasons.

February 4, 2023 - 4:25 pmI always ask myself why white lie skills should matter in getting a job – recruiters should be smarter than just following some bullshit piece of text that might not be even written by myself. Thanks for advices, they're great but whole idea of cover letter is just senseless. Bah, unless you're postulating for some specific fields. Like portfolio when you try to get a job as a graphic designer.
Btw, there is something even worse in France: some companies require cover letter written by hand to get a prove of motivation, lol, what about people who are greatly trained in the field but they just didn't study callligraphy or they ain't doctors? I mean, it's just another way to discriminate people. Thank you, I have shared my hate towards cover letters, now I can sleep calm.
