    October 2022 Update:
    Intel's 12th-gen Core i9-12900HK 45W CPU launched.
    In every benchmark that it has performed it FAR outperforms the competition.
    Intel ain't dead yet…..and nobody is laughing now.

    Did not age well, intel is pretty much here to stay especially post 12th gen and i'm mostly on AMD's side.

    A transistor is more of a relay, not a switch. Switches have mechanical means, relays, electrical, so I guess you could say an electronicly operated switch

    IBM was averse to the 80386 because it would potentially make the PC competitive with their minicomputers. Much like how Ford discontinued the Ranger for several years (US market)-they thought the Ranger was taking sales away from the F150.
