November 13, 2022 - 11:21 pmHonestly i have a intel stock cooler with a i3 12100 and on idle my CPU is at around 31.5C and under load it gets max 42C i would recommend the intel stock cooler for a i3 12100 all day long!

Tested it with an old LGA 1150 stock cooler and never passed 82c on Cinebench r15 but I limited the power to 72w with no diference in performance on CPU Z. Also my board was set at 1.25 volts what is too much, so I set it to 1.2v, again, no diference on performance.

November 13, 2022 - 11:21 pmim using the stock i3 cooler and i was running at 95 deg on fortnite/val/rocket league until i reinstalled it and it now runs at 60/70 so, it can do the job if u need it to but an aftermarket will always be better

November 13, 2022 - 11:21 pmI just built a 12400F rig and with a Hyper 212 it has never gone above 68c. Even after 30-40 min running Prime 95.
