Job Interview Tips: Tell me about yourself. Example of a good answer.

A woman, interviewing for a pharmaceutical sales position, answers the common interview question: Tell me about yourself. This is an example of a GOOD way to answer this question.

When describing yourself, you should give specific examples of your professional and personal qualities. Intertwine those examples with your character traits that make you who you are. Stay relevant to the job position and company culture.

Let’s get it out there. I am so envious of my brother right now. He has actually been unattached for life. Yet somehow, he made a part-time model to declare to him she is head over heels in love with him in under a thirty day period. Just how is that even achievable? He said to me he obtained the Cupid Love System (Google it!) I wish someone exquisite fell for me… I don’t recall at any time seeing him so happy. Kind of makes me feel bad.

First off, she is not dressed for an interview. Need me to say that her "assets" are visible? You are there to make sure they see you as serious, this is not a serious image. Telling them your life's history is a big mistake. They can just see you going off on a tangent in a meeting and having to constantly pull you back on the topic. Not a very professional impression. "Tell me about yourself" means tell me how YOU can BENEFIT ME. This is business folks!

so you are a teacher, but you can't teach yourself to keep your hands down on the table or at your side? You showed how nervous you were and anyone would pick you out on that.

Bad answer, she keeps going and going and going. It's a good answer if your trying to get a job as an" ENERGIZER BUNNY"! Lady keep the answer short and to the point. I bet the interviewer forgot his question because you are taking tooooooooooooooo long of the time.

One way to better prepare for a job interview is to use DISC profiling
to understand the person you are meeting. When you understand what the other person wants, and what drives them, you can much better focus your answers. It is now possible to get the DISC profile from social media analysis. I offer a gig on Fiverr that can provide you with that: https://www.fiverr.com/s2/1a4cb1f932
