If we switch to Nuclear power and give greater incentives to buy electric cars (including subsidising and prioritising lithium battery production) this problem will subside substantially over time.
Also, many countries are going for the practical short term measures of taxing fossil fuel company profits to discourage extortionate profiteering…
Overall though, Society’s rejection of Nuclear power was a massive mistake, and the environment has payed dearly for it as we continue to rely on fossil fuels for our electricity.

March 12, 2023 - 1:39 pmI live back n forth btw US and Ireland, and I laughed out loud when you said there was only ONE day on which you didn’t have to wear a jacket… I feel vindicated, and I am going to show this to my Irish husband who says Ireland has lovely summers. 😂 Also, as an American, I can tell you’re not American (though your pronunciations mainly are). A wild guess would be that Spanish and Danish (or maybe German) are your first two languages…😁 Am I even close?!❤

Luckily, I didn't have to. But thanks for sharing, stumbled upon this while doing research (and looking for inspiration for future video ideas about NL). Nice to see another expat YouTuber in AMS/NL too (there aren't too many), keep it up!

I just moved back to my hometown after a year living in Portugal and I'll probably move again soon. Ireland and the Netherlands are definitely two countries I'm interested in (other ones are in my list too).
Also damn English is your third language! Congratulations! I definitely assumed you were American too. I would say I'm pretty fluent in English but I do not sound like that hehe (ma vabbè hai vissuto a Milano, sai come parliamo inglese)

March 12, 2023 - 1:39 pmI've been to both cities, and it's a toss-up which is better, although Amsterdam is the more convenient location. As far as saying where you work, I don't blame you for not saying. If anyone knows my name, just Google it and my employment is right there. My income isn't much of a secret either, but if anyone asks I'll tell them there's no need for both of us to cry about it, before telling them. I'm in I.T. in California. It's cheap for me because my house is paid in full and work is extremely close (like five minutes away). There's no reason to move. Good video.
