You don't get paid at all for watching the video yourself (that's only a clickbait), you only get paid to make others watch the video through an affiliate link from a site with ads that pays a youtuber to promote it (that's also the case with this video), and the youtubers simply mask it as a simpler way to do this rather than watch it yourself but actually this is the only way you get paid, by making others use the link so the site gets paid from ads like $100+ and you only get 2-3% of that, also you get paid lower if you live in a country lower than US, making you a profit of around 20-30 cents in countries like India and such. In summary, the youtuber and the site take advantage of you for easy money.

March 29, 2023 - 9:31 pmWow sis, thanks so much for this as a YouTuber who tries to help people make money, I think it's wrong and sad how these people are pushing money making methods that they know don't work just for views, there are thousands of people up here that are actually looking for ways to make money and if you don't have any real help to offer them at least don't send them on a wild goose chase. None of those links shortener sites really work.
