My 8sec 40toes pole unfastened climb in linemen magnificence.. second week of sophistication

That is my eighth day in linemen magnificence at Warren County Profession Middle. I determined to race Tim in my magnificence since we had been having a gradual day. I want to put a line 3ft from the highest so i do know when to succeed in up….if I reached after I will have to have it might were 7.49sec. Now not unhealthy for week 2 of a nine month lengthy path I am certain I’m going to beat the 5.2sec college document by means of the top.

Yeah. We in Finland have to do it also without that safety strap. It's kinda slowing down your performance when you know theres nothing to stop you if you fall

It is nice to be able to get up and down a pole quickly, but knowing what to do once you get there is more important….over the long haul climbing fast don't mean shit

Not bad , but try it with a safety and lineman belt and all the hand tools …and no safety catch line…we never had that shit.

Unless that pole is in more than 10%+2 that is a 35foot pole at best

20 ft. warrior. Junior, I was wreckin out toll leads w/80lb buckhorns b4 u ever saw a set of hooks. …you probably haven't learned about joint use poles yet. I worked hand in hand w/some of the greatest tesco lineman that ever killed a dog w/a can of wasp spray and at my age will gladly show your hitch hikin ass how to climb.
Be safe….don't get complacent remember what your taught and when you slide down a guy and the creosote smokes on your gloves drop me a line and let me know your still alive.

I want you to remember this tete d tete the first time you cut out on a toothpic rotten shelled 60 footer…so small your heels click together. Here's whats gonna happen if it hasn't already. One minute your on a hook the next your not but soon will be because if your belted off when you recontact the pole some feet lower you'll likely bite off the end of your tongue, kiss the pole w/your 4head and somebody will laugh their ass off at the sleeping lineman sguatting on his heels

A 40 foot pole to all those who don't believe it is, is 6 to 7 feet below ground level. But that is what it is; looks like a class 4 or 5 40 foot pole.

I know he has a safety harness on and that he is in training. But in an industry that puts so much importance on safety. What is the point of free climbing like this?
