Since everyone is asking why I've almost always recommended Intel in this video:
    1. Newer socket
    2. DDR5 support
    3. More fps per $ than Ryzen across the lineup
    4. AM4 will become a dead socket once AM5 releases later this year.

For new systems, I recommend going with Intel 12 th gen.

Ahaha this video is so bad… You wasting money following this advice… Just save more Money on cpu and spend it on a better gpu… For example a Ryzen 5 5600 can handle up to a rtx 3080 / 6900xt…

Hi, I currently have a i7 6700k (Its got 4 cores @ 4.0 GHz) and a RX 580. (Slightly OC within its AMD Software)
What I gathered from this video is that new gen Intel processors are superior for some reasons, and when it comes to Power/ Price of GPUs, new is always better.
Should I look into upgrading both? or focus on the GPU first? I only play Valorant, and get around 230-280 Fps. I have a 240hz monitor that I realllly want to use its full potential.
If I upgrade to a 3060 ti would that do it? or cause some of that bottlenecking"? I also know that if one day I want to upgrade the CPU ill be limited to what my board can equip.
So that brings me to my last question, If I wanna do a higher end GPU, should I also upgrade the CPU w/ MB?

It's crazy to think 2 months ago the radeon 6800 xt was going for 850 and now you can pick one up for 669.00. Mind blown.

Please please please DO NOT get the 6500 xt. It is a laptop GPU ported to desktop and it only has a 4 lane connector making it litteraly one QUARTER of the speed it should be. COMPLETE GARBAGE card. Atleast get a 6600
