Just passed phase 1 of 2 with this strategy. I have also found the deeper retracements to be more reliable. This is a great strategy for someone who has a full time job like me. One question i have is do you just set buy and sell limits as well without looking at price action on lower timeframe?

Yeah just focusing on the basics and really analyzing them like this is all you really need to get an edge. Proper RR with a reasonable winrate. Its interesting that these days i look at almost all setups as being good enough if you work on the strengths and weaknesses of each, focus on risk management you can almost make anything work.

I observed the Eurostocks and it is probably similar on the S & P 500,
Close to ..10 or..20 or..30, it is on a support level.
And close to ..70 or ..80 or ..90, we are on a R level, very often…

Haha, funnily enough, this is also how i trade. The simplest Market Sturcture strategy. When price pull back, its gonna (almost always) prepare to break the high.
I always trade on H4 btw. Thanks for sharing this, i know i have friends now

Randomly came across this video, and started implementing it this week. I've had a few misses but they were 100% my fault from placing my entry in the wrong area. As with any strategy, practice will tighten things up but I have to say this is a great and simple system.

    February 28, 2024 - 8:28 am

Hi Paul! If there is a order block at the same time, same price level in two different time frames, for example 15min and 1H, which one you trade? I have situations when price rejects from 1H TF OB and does not reach 15min TF OB. Thank you!

My experince, is that, most of the time when price pulls back deeply, and i place and order, the price usually blasts straight through the stop loss, and reversers the trend…

Hey! great content man, thanks a lot! Do you place the orders in particular time of the dat? i want to back test the strategy but would love to know at what times you trade. Or that, doesnt matter, any time you see your patterns and conditions you enter the trade? Also in which assets do you trade this trategy? many many thanks!

  • @TheSmokezalot

    February 28, 2024 - 8:28 am

I hate a video where a person starts off with "they dont know what they are doing". You are not a proffesional either and it shows, you buy at inisignificant levels (25% 50% 75% 100%), you also dont diferentiate the strength of the trend, you are willing to buy a pullback that goes lower than the previous high wich indicates an upcoming trend change, thats how head and shoulders start forming, so stop talking crap about other to put your self on a pedestool, its cringe, specially if you as amateur as you are.

Love the video. I really like the fact that is all mathematical, my head works that way. I’d really like to connect with you. I’m into EA robots, just started a couple of months ago and I’m liking it. Testing my first ea in paper trade and building another one which seems really good. But watching this got me in the idea to build something for it. Mathematic is everything! I love the concept.

Good content and thank you for sharing. You said that you have over 10 000 trades, can i ask about the hitrate% over all of these trades? Best regards

  • @paulcahill7023

    February 28, 2024 - 8:28 am

    Hi,
I spent 3 years programming and studying predictive entry indicators only to realise it is all about risk management and tight stops.

I tested the single chart software that accurately position sized entry levels with tight high R rewards. Using a coin toss, after 3 days and 10 trades, I had 7 losses and 3 wins but with a total of 21R – 7R I netted 14R @ 1% risk.

Unfortunately the partner I had attempted to steal my source so I stepped away.

Your method is very close to my strategy. Have you considered adding position sizing or don't you need it?
