The Case of the Disappearing Office Supplies

The Olympics may only come around every four years, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have your own version in the office. Read on to hear about the hilarious events and fierce competition that took place in our very own Office Olympics.

In any office, there are bound to be some sticky fingers. But what happens when those fingers start stealing office supplies? That’s exactly what happened in our office, and it became quite the mystery.

At first, it was just small things like pens and staplers. We didn’t think much of it, chalking it up to simple absent-mindedness. But as more and more supplies started disappearing, we started to suspect foul play.

We tried to keep an eye out for any suspicious behavior, but we couldn’t catch the culprit in the act. It was like they were always one step ahead of us.

Finally, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We set up a hidden camera in the supply closet and waited to see who would take the bait.

Sure enough, a few days later, we caught one of our coworkers red-handed, stuffing a stack of Post-It notes into their bag. We confronted them and they admitted to taking the supplies, claiming that they just needed them for personal use.

We explained to them that taking office supplies was against company policy and that it was hurting the rest of us who needed those supplies to do our jobs. They apologized and promised to return the stolen supplies.

From that day on, we made sure to keep a closer eye on our office supplies. It may have been a small issue, but it was a reminder that even the smallest acts of dishonesty can have a big impact.
