This is low-key a US issue. Most of the world has just one problem with forex and that's making sure that the prop firm we use is legit

I’ve never understood the clamouring for leverage – here in the U.K. the maximum leverage on regulated brokers is 1:30. I’ve been using regulated brokers for years and still make good money…..

Let me ask this question. (I tend to the positive). For instance, I have 25K account, can I place a trade on a forex pair with lot size of 10 (10 standard lots) and on a leverage of 1:50 ?

Great video. I was aware of the MT4 being banned on iOS for a brief amount of time but during that time I was still able to use it. I have two brokers that I trade with and neither of them gave me problems to trade during that time.

Your title scared me lol because I have been learning forex for the past couple months and I KNOW that I’m all in however, the news about the prop firms ban in the US made me nervous and was wondering if I got into this skill too late . I thank you for this outlook and clarification I personally want to GROW my account and really master this skill . Prop firm success would’ve been nice as well but slow and steady wins the race right ? lol again thank you for this video whew !

The reason this is happening is because of social media. Trading has become so popular, more people are trading than never before. That may seem like a good thing, however when you oversaturate anything it becomes less valuable. Brokers are having to set rules because more people are losing money. This is going to happen to other markets as well. Everyone is saying they’ll start trading futures, but in time the same thing is going to happen. What brokers need to do is ban YouTubers, instagram, and Twitter/X from offering financial advice unless they’re licensed professionals. Anyone can be financial advisors on the internet, and that’s killing the trading game.

Good video, I'm a new trader still learning the process. Not for sure I feel confident about going the prop trading route, but just thinking more of just setting aside at at least a $100 per week to trade with

"Regulated" brokers do not provide the correct data if you choose to trade off the higher timeframes. I did not realize this until I started trading futures which provide the correct candle closures for the higher timeframes. It made a huge difference for me and helped explain why I was losing

It’s crazy how many people think that forex brokering is only provided by offshore brokers 😂 They don’t know that there are regulated brokers in the states?

For forex, I use TD Ameritrade. You’re not going to get 500:1 leverage but you can trade currencies legitimately. There are other options as well. I trade futures with a dedicated futures broker. Yes, you can trade currencies through the futures market as well. There are 1-lot contracts and micro currency futures contracts. However, most futures brokers only offer contracts on the major pairs.

So, the idea that forex is dead is idiotic and shows that people haven’t even researched the industry.

Yes, the goal is consistent profitability over a long period of time, but lets be honest, prop firms changed the game for a lot of people. Access to capital is key once you learn how to trade. I remember landing my first 200k account with FTMO and making 11k in seven days all from simply trend following stock indexes, and how that felt. I've never in my life made that type of money on any job I've ever had in an entire month much less one week.

I like Futures a lot better. They actually have currency futures you could trade on the minis and micros. I am going to try swing trading with those in my personal non prop account. In my futures prop account I only scalp with NAS, US30.
