They may have trouble manufacturing the technology but they will sooner or later play around with the concept enough to make something easier to manufacture. It's scary and fascinating at the same time.

i had poor results with a cyrix 486 dx4/133, it felt like the motherboard wasn't getting enough torque to use the cpu cycles and cache efficiently.
also the computer was a lot faster in dos games rather than windows 98 games.

Couple of years behind, but what is a couple of years in R&D, when Intel and AMD are just sitting on their hands. Add to that the rumored ARM Chinese division being cut off from the parent company, and you are looking at a chinese silicon being equal or overtaking the traditional manufacturers. Scary.
