So mang videos are so negative and talk about how much they hate certain designs, but this is such a beautiful display of passion! It brightens my day!

May 12, 2023 - 8:52 pmI know nothing about graphic design, I’m an art and design student but my only experience with it was a GD history course I took freshman year. But I gotta say, I find GD so fucking cool and interesting and there are so many totally unique and eyecatching amazing styles out there that I really adore. I think my current favorite designer is Qingyu wu, I had to do a project on her and her work is just so striking and interesting and her color palettes are so cool. Can’t recommend her work enough

May 12, 2023 - 8:52 pmDesigners talk about "styles" as if they're not aethetic signifiers that belonged to a place, a time, and a group of people. Reducing this to a photoshop tool or a type of font is just a quick way to make lukewarm gentrifying work.
