My current very small side hustle is performing audits, product trials and review, surveys during my work lunch break. The job pays vary depending on time it takes, but the past 2 years Iβve made $1200 just taking a few minutes out of my day to do some quick audits and reviews. Not a lot of money but it also depends on how much time you have. Some days there are over $100 worth of jobs available.

How do you find the ones that pay you and actually have an end? I was on one for 2 hours before and it just kept throwing questions and ads at me.

May 4, 2024 - 10:01 pmA lot of people don't realize that Paula Deen started her whole business empire when her children were small by selling 4 different sandwiches and salads out of a carry basket at local businesses during lunch hours. It was a pretty humble little venture, but people loved her food. I'm sure having her darling little boys along didn't hurt sales either.

May 4, 2024 - 10:01 pmA friend of mine did group and private swim lessons. She worked out a deal with a local hotel to use their a section of their pool where she handled the business and they got a cut. She ran sessions for a few weeks at a time. It was full time and she always had a wait list.

May 4, 2024 - 10:01 pmebay is definitely still a thing. my father scouts out the flea markets for tools and resells online. he buys dirt cheap because many people arenβt aware of what they are selling and sells for a huge profit on ebay, heβs even started selling on mercari. he has his full time job , and after work he posts his listings on ebays/packs up sales and on the weekends he does auto mechanic jobs and goes to the flea markets early in the morning.

We are going to get the building tomorrow. the hard part is trying to figure out what licenses he needs for our state and county. I have been searching online for a few hours and I keep getting contradicting answers..lol. I will probably call our probate office Monday and talk with them to see if they can help us straighten it out.
I love that you started a channel focusing more on these types of things. I love your other channel too, but it will be easier to sort through the content like this.

Iβve seen so many people not wanting to do it themselves and they end up paying way over budget. I thought if I asked for a 25% cut of whatever they save it might be valuable to people. Victoria x

May 4, 2024 - 10:01 pmJust curious….on the meal prep idea, does anyone know if there are local requirements in some areas by the health department? I'm in Illinois, and we have a town-wide garage sale every year. Some people wanted to have a food and beverage booth, and the health department said they needed a license and had to prep their food in a commercial kitchen. For a garage sale, for heaven's sake!!! Granted, our town garage sale attracts thousands of people, but what have you experienced with doing food prep locally? Without a pricey license, are you at risk of being sued over some bad lettuce?
