What if they made 2 different "Kinds" of servers?
The first being a "sandbox" server, similar to other familiar MMORPS like WoW, there is content, you do the content you get the rewards, this is nothing special, its just the default, so i assume this will be a thing.
The second is what i would be excited by, an "Actual RPG" Where actions taken affect the gameworld, Legendary items are legendary, there will only be 1 copy of those, however they are achieved, Killing a boss actually kills the boss, and the next guy cant just do the same (But there could be a successor for the next group to fight?) If noxus conquers a Demacian farmland, they will gain an actual advantage in the future of the server.
This could be implemented in 2 ways (off the top of my head) and i would personally be okay with either.
First option would be to have 1 massive RPG server with live updates, this would require a lot of developer work in keeping up with whats been done, and what people are trying to do so they are prepared to roll out the continouation of the story.
The alternative would be to start a new server at regular intervals, my initial thought was 1 month atleast at game launch, but would have to be modified according to player demand, with the intention of giving more people a chance at being the one to get that special legendary weapon or title, but with a more "Generic" RPG where they just have preset successors, and "If this happens it will lead to this" situations so they can precode it for the multiple servers (at different stages of the RPGs lifespan)

February 15, 2024 - 10:44 amWhat would be cool is although there is only one legendary boss weapon per server, once someone gets it, they get to keep the weapon, and nobody can loot it until they die. And you can tell when someone has the true weapon because they'd have a special effect on them on certain hubs or during raids or pvp sections of the map.
A good balance for it is that when somebody is inactive for a while and doesn't participate in raids or pvp for a certain amount, they lost it automatically.

with beveth being the final raid boss, for the last void raid.
with the current void champions, i can already plan out 3 raids witth 3 bosses each.
and a stat checker in every raid.
the darking that might have taken over a voidborn.
could be a cool raid in sharima

you get shadow isles sets and weapons based on the ruined king , same way all around the different raids to have different regions using armor or stuff out their homeland
